I’ve spent the majority of my life in different trades including concrete, installing store fixtures, in-house trades. A little of this, a little of that.
I started building cabinets in the mid-late 90’s, where I was introduced to my good friend Lee (who currently works in our shop). In 2012 after some years away from the cabinetry business, I started doing side work out of my garage with basically nothing. What kind of work? That’s where the vision was created.
Fast forward to now, we are currently building a new 4,500 sq ft shop in Leavenworth, Indiana specializing in custom built millwork and wood paneling.
I enjoy golfing, fishing, having friends over for dinner on the grill, enjoying the outdoors, and providing for my family.

My cabinet experience started in 1985 learning from my father in Salt Lake City, Utah. In 1988 I started my own company, “Pro Line Mills”, while transitioning to “Universal Installs” in the early 90’s. When the recession hit in 2008, I was forced to let go of my business. A few years later I got a call from James who needed help, I was there in a heartbeat.
I enjoy the process of cabinet making, and bringing light to the shop. My hobbies include creating realism art, smashing king crab for dinner, and drinking tequila on Saturday nights without a care in the world.
As I near 60, I put in my 9-5 and let James and Jayden handle the rest.

These old school fools aren’t equipped for the modern age. I suppose that’s where I come in handy. With a small sample size of the wood working trade, I specialize as an operator. I handle most office things, and all back end systems like CAD, creating SOP’s, and handling CNC operations.
My business experience began in high school, in the year 2017 making custom longboards in the wood shop. I think I sold maybe 2 in total. In 2019 I started my official hustle, Trippy Vintage. I began sourcing clothes from the 90’s and on, in a market that began to surge after the pandemic. It was a solid learning experience learning how to deal with adversity and finding solutions when times were tough at a young age. I was married to the game.
In early 2026 things changed, and the lightbulb went off… I’m going to help my Dad and challenge myself to grow an actual business. I knew he needed the help, and our relationship has grown exponentially. It was the best decision for me to make.
I enjoy problem solving, and building skill sets to become an effective leader. One of my best accomplishments is completing the 75HARD program in 2026, with the goal of doing it every year.
My hobbies include; golfing with my dad and friends, playing basketball, being holistic, and debunking conspiracy theories that make me seem like a crazy person.
